Liposculpture
Liposculpture is a procedure designed to contour and refine the shape of your body using your own fat to sculpt areas which appear empty thereby enhancing your natural body proportions. It can be used to fill hollows which remain after breast reconstruction surgery or under tethered scars to improve appearance and function. In appropriate cases, liposculpture can be used to provide a natural breast augmentation or to improve the appearance over breast implants where rippling is particularly obvious.
Surgery involves carefully harvesting fat through small incisions in areas of excess, unwanted fat (often the thighs, or abdomen) before using specialized techniques to isolate the fat cells and precisely reinjecting the cells using a small cannula to sculpt any desired areas. Whether this is to address post-surgical depressions or significantly augment tissues, the aim is to improve overall silhouette. Careful pre-operative assessments will be carried out to ensure your suitability for surgery and to plan the best approach for your desired outcome.
