Labiaplasty
Labiaplasty is a procedure to reduce and reshape the labia minora, often to address symptoms such as discomfort, irritation, or self-consciousness related to enlarged or asymmetrical labial tissue. These concerns may affect physical activities, clothing choices, or intimate relationships.
Surgery involves removing excess tissue to create a more balanced and comfortable appearance while preserving natural function and sensitivity. The procedure can be tailored to your individual needs and performed on one or both sides to correct asymmetry or excess tissue. We recognise that patients are often embarassed about discussing these issues and offer reassurance through our expertise and through the provision of information which you can look at in the privacy of your own home. Whether surgery is appropriate, and if so, whether to choose general or local anaesthetic, the type of surgical technique and what to expect during the recovery period are some of the many topics covered at your pre-operative consultation(s).
