Brachioplasty
Brachioplasty is a procedure to remove excess skin and fat from the upper arms, often to address concerns related to sagging or “bat wings” that can develop after significant weight loss, ageing, or loss of skin elasticity. These changes may cause discomfort, difficulties with clothing fit, or self-consciousness about appearance.
Surgery involves removing enough tissue to create a smoother, firmer contour along the underside of the arm. The amount of tissue removed and therefore the length of your scar is tailored to you and your individual needs. Pre-operative assessments will be arranged to ensure you are well prepared for surgery and to optimise your outcome.
